2002 Grantseeker Survey In the Summer of 2002, the Pottruck Family Foundation and the Fleishhacker Foundation conducted a joint survey of grantees to educate ourselves and other funders about how grantseekers view the grants process. We were particularly interested in the grantseeker perspective on what works and what parts of the process need improvement. We are committed to sharing the results of the study with our peers in hopes they will learn and perhaps incorporate some of the recommendations into practice. The questionnaire and the results, including verbatim comments to the open-ended questions, are here for review, as well as an article co-authored by Pottruck Family Foundation Executive Director Nancy Wiltsek and Fleishhacker Foundation Executive Director Christine Elbel. The article is scheduled for publication in the Association of Small Foundations May 2003 Newsletter.
