About the Pottruck Family Foundation The Pottruck Family Foundation (PFF) was established in 1995 by David S. Pottruck and Emily Scott Pottruck to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and youth in San Francisco. Currently the Foundation is focused almost exclusively on Foster Care. The Foundation is interested in supporting organizations that work primarily with emancipating and emancipated foster youth in the Bay Area in order to increase the likelihood of their successful transition from care to adulthood. In addition, the Foundation may decide to support special projects or civic and community projects that serve the city of San Francisco at large; please note that these types of projects are initiated by the Foundation. |
